How to collect for wikiethnies.org ?
In brief :

- Give to each different group that goes on the field on the same day a different letter : A or B or...
- When you are on the field :
- For each video/audio recording, fill up one “recording form” (see next page) and maybe some “person form(s)”
- Start video/audio by reading clearly : the date of recording, the group letter and the reference number on the top of the “recording form” and eventually the title of the recording
- Record
- When you have finished :
- Give all video/audio files and all “forms” to the man who will import data on wikiethnies.org
How to collect for wiliethnies.org ?

Your work in this step is to collect all the data you can about Bahnar ethnic group, it means you are a collector and not only for recording sound but also for writing all informations you can about tales, storytellers, musicians, music, who are on the recordings, which kind of instruments they play, how are made these instruments, and why not how to play it, all information are welcome.
This work can go very very far in the description of each element, so don't hesitate to write all things that can be interesting.
- 2. Requirements and preparations

Check your equipment before going onto the field to collect sound
For the recording, you need :
- Digital recorder with microphones and accessories :
- Two sets of battery
- Wind shield
- Empty memory card (at least 4 GO)
- Stand
- For the collect of details about your recordings and the collect of informations about the Bahnar ethnic group, you need :
- Notebook
- Pen
- Copies of the forms (p3 and 4)
- Camera (photo and/or video)
- 1. Once on the field

- Recording form explanations
- Date of the recording : date of the day
- Group : Each group that records today has a different letter to distinguish them. Put here the letter (A, B, C…)
